Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Access Integrations
Navigate to Dashboard → Integrations section.
Step 2: Initiate Connection
Find the Zoho CRM option in the CRM integrations and select “Connect” beneath it.
Step 3: Authorize on Zoho
You will be redirected to Zoho’s sign-in page. Log in to the Zoho account that owns the CRM you want to sync to, and approve the access request. Timetics AI requests permission to manage contacts in your Zoho CRM and to read your basic Zoho profile. No API keys are entered manuall, the connection is handled entirely through Zoho’s secure OAuth flow.
Step 4: Return to Timetics AI
After you approve, Zoho redirects you back to Timetics AI and the connection completes automatically. Timetics AI detects your Zoho data center (for example, .com, .eu, or .in) from the authorization response, so accounts in any region connect without extra configuration.
Step 5: Verify Connection
Once the connection succeeds, select “Details” to confirm Zoho CRM is properly connected. You will see a status badge and the connected Zoho account email.
Step 6: Disconnect (Optional)
To remove the integration, open the Details view and click “Disconnect”. The integration is removed from Timetics AI and confirmed bookings will no longer sync to Zoho CRM.
Key Functionality
Once integrated, Timetics AI automatically syncs every confirmed booking to your Zoho CRM as a contact. When a booking is confirmed, the booker’s email and name are sent to Zoho and upserted into the Contacts modul, new bookers are created as contacts and existing ones are updated. Contacts are matched by email, so a repeat booker updates the same record instead of creating a duplicate. Every contact created or updated by Timetics AI is tagged with a Lead Source of “Timetics” so you can segment booking-sourced contacts in your CRM. Sync uses the Zoho CRM API (v6) against your account’s regional API domain, with access tokens refreshed automatically in the background so the connection keeps working without re-authorizing.
Prerequisites
- Active Timetics AI account
- A Zoho CRM account with permission to create and update contacts
- Ability to grant OAuth access to your Zoho CRM during connection
Notes
Zoho CRM is a workspace-level integration, so all bookings within the workspace sync to the single connected Zoho account. The connection uses OAut, you authorize on Zoho rather than pasting API credentials, and Timetics AI stores the resulting tokens securely against your workspace. Because Zoho requires a last name on every contact, Timetics AI splits the booking name into first and last name and falls back to the first name or email when only a single name is provided. Only confirmed bookings are synced; cancellations do not push updates back to Zoho, so use Zoho workflows or your own segments if you need to react to cancelled appointments. A failed sync (for example, if Zoho is temporarily unreachable) does not block the booking, the appointment still completes and the failure is logged on the Timetics AI side.
